The wellbeing of attendees at our meetings and events is of the utmost importance. We have been monitoring developments and advice from the UK Government and World Health Organization (WHO) about the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.

On Friday 13 March we announced that we have cancelled our Cell Signalling 2020 meeting, due to be held in April. Speakers, abstract authors and delegates have all been informed by email.
We currently intend to proceed with all our other advertised events, however we will continue to undertake risk assessments and will keep you updated if anything changes.
In the meantime, we ask that attendees take personal responsibility to keep up to date with and to follow Government advice.
In addition, we advise the following when attending events in the UK or abroad:

  • Follow recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the policies of the local government and city officials
  • Make use of hand sanitising stations and tissues
  • Do not shake hands
  • Reduce or eliminate business card exchanges

If we cancel or postpone an event, we will offer a full refund of the delegate fee paid.
